Grateful

Heavy heaves and soulful sighs.
Bright mornings and cool evenings.
Highs and lows with everything in between.
I am grateful for all these things.

I think what has come was born from the broken places.
Where weeds once sprouted, I now find flowers.
Where dirt and earth once refused to give away,
I now find softened under my feet.

Grace has kept me.
Love has led me.
Hope has lifted me.

The Beauty of Now

beauty now marvia davidsonI love the writing community, Story Sessions!  Women are taking up their brave on a daily basis, owning the beauty of brokenness, and sharing the story – healing words spilling from their souls.  These words are beautiful.  I met Jamie through Story Sessions and as a part of Story 201.  She has been a shoulder of calm and confidence.  She has inspired me to keep pressing in to the business of finishing out my memoir.

Have you ever had a dream burning in your heart?  It’s flames consuming your every waking moment.  It won’t leave you alone.  It won’t let you go.  It wants you to stop what you’re doing right now and take notice.

This is your life.  It is screaming from the rafters.  Its voice is ripped, swollen, and bloody from every attempt to catch your ear.
