A Writer Finds Her Voice

I’m over at The Story Unfolding with Elora Nicole today talking about how I found my writing voice.  In this right-now-moment, I can tell you I am a writer.  I own it with pride.  There is no shame in it.  There is no expectation to which I must reach.  The call that I’ve been hearing is that I must be the real and authentic me – nothing more and nothing less.

I am on this writing-discovery-journey now and loving it.  You could not have told me a year ago that I would have found myself in this creative space or that I would have taken on the arduous journey of writing a novel in 30 days.  These things would not have been possible without my Story 101 family.

A Story To Tell

Much like some of you, my time is precious to me. Between four children and a wife I don’t exactly have room in my life to “dilly dally” when it comes to getting any writing done. But I also have a story to tell and don’t feel I’ll be able to rest until its completed. So here are a few examples of how i get things done when I don’t always have time to get things done.
